About Us

A unique experience in the heart of Glenelg

Glenelg Beach Hostel is housed in a beautiful heritage building dating back to 1878 featuring high lofty ceilings, period features and open fireplaces – our hostel is widely recognised for its unique character.

Centrally located 10km from the CBD in Adelaide’s premier beachside suburb of Glenelg, we are adjacent to the bustling Jetty Rd and only metres from one of South Australia’s best beaches. Buzzing with local nightlife, shopping, restaurants, alfresco dining and breakfast cafes, this laid back beach town has everything you need in the one convenient location.

Our hostel is equipped with all of the usual facilities you would expect for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We throw in a few freebies to help our travellers out such as light breakfast each morning, 24hr tea/coffee and free wifi. We also have a large garden at the back of our hostel where you can relax and catch some Adelaide sunshine! If you prefer to grab a drink, we offer a great daily happy hour in the hostel bar.

If you are visiting Adelaide, come and stay at the beach! An ideal home base while you explore South Australia’s wineries, beaches and outback.
